Where am I living now?

Since 29 Aug 2009

I am living in Kuala Lumpur in a very cosy condominium(or condo) just behind the prominent twin towers which is called marc service residence. Usually in the mornings I am jogging in adorable KLCC park then do a little bit swimming in one of my edgeless swimming pools. Fortunately my office is located in my neighborhood, I can be there in jiffy hence I will sleep more in the morning; besides we can be in office before 10am which is awesome.

My evenings are like having drinking sessions with pals and share our knowledge, and in the weekends I am a real-party-animal as I mean it. My haunt for weekends is a road called Changkat Bukit Bintang; if you like to surprise me you can invite for either a coffee or a lot of white-russian.

What my pals are saying about me?

Perseverance in solving problems, great source of knowledge and beyond all of them a brainy, talented person in building up what I can mention as a future architecture, are some of his great attitudes. I personally enjoyed him in some time and mind consuming problems and I should confess without his aid I couldn't manage to solve them. Besides he cares about learning others and supporting colleagues and friends.

Roozbeh Goodarzi Banking Senior Analyst, Behpardakht

Truly inspiring & Intelligent software engineering hacker/artist with a beautiful way of doing things. I personally enjoy working with him and I hope I can do that again.

Loong Fei, BI Manager , Dell

Chris is real software development enthusiast with nice theoretical background. I like to discuss software development challenges and architectural things with him.

Tomas Hubalek , Staff Programmer Analyst , ON Semiconductor

Chris is an extraordinary figure in software engineering realm. He is talented and experienced despite his young age. His enthusiasm and persistence to deliver outcome with good qualities, is definitely an admirable character. Well done!

Dennis Lee, System Engineering Manager, Nokia Siemens Networks

To find a genius j2ee architect, an intelligent software analyzer and designer, an incredible initiative developer, also a good friend, just meet Chris Shayan. I've worked with him for approximately two years and feel he is a deserving candidate for any software position.

ChrisShayan.com's Reorganization

I'm a serious fan of open-source, so as a back-end of this web site, I am using Joomla. After a while I inspired by Martin Fowler's web site, hence I decided to move into his template for my first page. Hence the home page of ChrisShayan.com is a static HTML page.

This page contains: navigation (the tabs on top), simple portlet-style sections which will have various things within it, a photo of myself (it was company drinking session), beneath the photo you can find the famous keynotes of mine, below the well-know keynotes there are some icons which are the technologies or tools that I adore also I participate in some of its development, and there is a footer. The footer has few columns to help you to get through ChrisShayan.com more easily, on the other hand is more like shortcuts to different location of my web site.

Technology blogs

I am doing my best to keep myself up-to-date, also share it with others. You can find the latest ones here.
